"Draw for a Cause" was an event hosted by Young Mothers, Inc. in partnership with Fashion Public Relations company Kodom Style. Cameroon, West Africa Fashion Designer and Business Owner, Sandrine Nicole who has been drawing, creating and designing for over 12 years, created an atmosphere that supported creatives in our community learn, expand, and grow through artistic teachings. The event served to inspire those who are in the beginning phases of drawing and are in their first year of fashion design school or aspiring artists who want to learn how to begin their dream with learning how to draw from scratch. Young Mothers, Inc. & Meko Kelly presented an event that brought together those who wanted to share their stories and join in the fight against domestic violence and the stigmas related to speaking up and moving forward. It was an afternoon of dialogue, collaborating activities, sustenance and libations.
